Akshay Farm is in the heart of Colomba's verdant surroundings. The village of Colomba is situated in the South Goa district of Goa, India, in the Sanguem taluka. The location is renowned for its organic surroundings and captivating natural beauty.

 

This South Goan village is traversed by the Kushavati River. Thousands of years old sculptures can be seen on its rocks, which enhances the farm's natural beauty. It has also drawn a wide variety of birds from all over the world.

In the year 1956, this farm was cultivated on arid soil. Since then, the farm has grown by combining the ancient principles of mixed crop farming with the most recent scientific methods.

 

The farm uses cutting-edge, scientific methods such as using sprinklers for irrigation. that replicate the weather patterns found during the rainy season keeping the atmosphere in the farm pleasant throughout the year. These scientific approaches greatly aid in the conservation of water.

 

Plenty of fruits, vegetables, herbs, and spices are currently produced on this land.
